The Everlys, The Fore, and Ol’ Blue Eyes
Hey … remember when Scorsese scored with the Stones’ documentary,Shine A Light, a few months back? Well, he’s at it again — only, this time, he’s gonna do Sinatra’s life!
Yep … the “Chairman of the Board” is gonna be the subject of a new doc that, according to Frank’s daughter, Tina, will show the man was “innocent of any true involvement with the Mafia or other gangsters”.
Though no production date has been announced (in fact, this wasn’t even supposedta be leaked!), it fits into a “three-fer” for the director; he’s also planning on a biodoc on George Harrison.
THE GUYS WITH FORESIGHT (and a “by-request” vid)
BeFore we get to the video, lemme introduce ya to the dynamic duo behind-the-scenes with the band! The hard-working, fan-friendly Fore-fronters (p.s. Don’t try to say that with a mouth full of tea! It just doesn’t work! Ask my cats …), Neil White and David Jordan, have kept the mechanics of the band running smoothly — and they deserve a shout-out, and thanks, from every Forehead present (and future!). Gents, you’re nothin’ less than awesome!
Now … by your request:
THE EVERLY BROTHERS vs. GERRY and the PACEMAKERS
Now, this is interesting! A cool “switch-off” of sorts:
WRESTLIN’ WITH MR. TV (PT. I)
My favorite shows from Britain have been A Bit Of Fry and Laurie and Are You Being Served? In this, Part I of three that I’ll include among the next posts, Captain Peacock has a … er, well, little “problem” that’ll eventually lead to a wrestling match (stay tuned for the continuing saga for details. Thought I’d throw this in since The Relic did shots with wrestling orgs recently):
Okay … now, while you’re watchin’ those, I’m gonna sneak off for a few zzzz’s, so … until tomorrow:
Keep your eyes on the skies, your feet on the ground, your heart with the music …and I’ll see ya on the flip side.
